City Reach is a Gold Coast charity in its founding season. Right now, every dollar funds the body that goes live on 1 June 2026 — equipment, training, food, the practical infrastructure that lets us turn up on launch night ready, not improvising.
Every dollar lands in the Foundation account and goes where it's needed most. The current list:
Hot evening meals and breakfast at every shelter night. Pantry supplies. Emergency food parcels.
The project trailer that moves bedding, supplies and equipment between facilitator sites. Stretcher beds, mattresses, blankets, toiletries.
Branded shirts, lanyards, and the kit that turns a willing person into a recognisable City Reach volunteer ready to serve.
Volunteer induction, safeguarding training, role-specific preparation, and the resources volunteers need before their first shift.
The systems that hold volunteer records, intake data, and project coordination. Boring on the surface, load-bearing in practice.
Volunteer cover, public liability, and the regulatory infrastructure that keeps a registered charity running properly.
The base we work from — intake, communications, volunteer coordination. The room behind the rooms.
The person who holds the rostering, on-call coordination, partner relationships and incident escalation across the season.
Room to respond practically as new needs surface, with board oversight on how funds are deployed.
Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay through Stripe. One-off or recurring. Every dollar lands in the City Reach Foundation account.
Open Stripe to giveDGR (Deductible Gift Recipient) endorsement is in motion with the ATO — tax deductibility kicks in the day it lands.
Send us a message for City Reach Foundation Ltd's bank details and we'll reply with what you need for an EFT donation.
Equipment, food supplies, materials. We work alongside donors to make sure the gift fits the work and isn't a logistical burden.
If your employer offers payroll giving or matching, we can talk you through how to set up City Reach as a recipient.
A gift in your will is a long thread of care for the city. We're happy to share the right wording for your solicitor or estate planner.
If you represent a private foundation or grant-making body, we'd love to walk you through the work and share what your application needs.
If you'd like to give in a way that doesn't fit one of these boxes, just send us a message. The Foundation is small enough that real conversations are still how most things get arranged.
The structure that sits behind every dollar received.
City Reach Foundation Ltd is a public company limited by guarantee, registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) and the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC).
The City Reach Foundation board oversees how every dollar is allocated. Material commitments are board-approved, with risk and conflict-of-interest declarations on the record. Decisions are collective, documented, and visible.
City Reach is pursuing Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) endorsement with the ATO. Once endorsed, gifts will be tax-deductible — this page updates the day it lands.
As a registered charity, City Reach lodges annual financial statements with the ACNC — publicly visible on the ACNC charity register, and linked from this page once the first reporting period closes.
Founding seasons are slow at the start and fast in the middle. The people who give now — before there's a launch night to point to — are the ones who make the launch night possible. We don't take that lightly. Thank you.
